There's a lot going on in the world right now, and there is no denying trauma has engulfed much of our lives. We mourn not just for the loss of life, but the irreversible harm being leveled upon the people of Ukraine and many others suffering under harmful living conditions and war worldwide.

We strive to both recognize these injustices and promote the innate good in all of us - the caring, compassionate, fun, and nurturing things that are the touchstones of our humanity. In dark times, we must celebrate the good and inspiring things that are happening in our community.

We are so excited to be back for the 45th Wooden Boat Festival, September 9-11, 2022 - the largest wooden boat festival in North America with thousands of festival-goers each day. It's the place where kids and adults alike experience the magic of getting on the water, the beauty of wooden boats, and the richness of our maritime culture.

We can't predict what the Covid landscape will look like come September, but we feel confident that we will be able to have a festival!

Applications are now open for vendors, boaters, presenters, and musicians! Apply early to participate in this year's Wooden Boat Festival.

Apply at below links:

In efforts to keep our waters pristine and minimize our impact on the environment, this year we are expanding our robust recycling program to include composting! You can be proud to participate in an event that goes the extra mile to be as clean and green as possible.

We will continue to provide recycling for bottles and cans. Single-use plastic is still NOT allowed. We are excited to continuously improve our environmental programs and policies to make Wooden Boat Festival even greener!

All food vendors will be required to purchase serving products from approved vendors so that composting is viable. This is crucial to the success of the program! Please do not apply if you are not 100% on board with this program and partnering with us in this great move for our environment.

Vendor requirements:

  • Approved tent weights if you bring your own tent: they will specify type and weight
  • Proper fire extinguishers
  • No electrical cord runs over 100 feet
  • Proper licenses: business license for Port Townsend, UBI number, etc.

We appreciate all of you, and we look forward to a fantastic Festival this year!

Festival Dates: September 9-11, 2022
Apply by June 1 to be listed in the Festival Program.
We won't be invoicing until June, please apply early to help us plan!
To avoid a $100 late fee, apply by July 1.
Move-in: Thursday, September 9, anytime after 12:00 PM
