BIAV President meets with Victoria's boating minister

The BIAV newly appointed President, Eleni Savva, last week joined CEO Steve Walker in a meeting with The Hon. Melissa Horne, Minister for Fishing and Boating.

Discussions focused on the recent progress the state government had made in many areas for boating, however also looked forward to the 2022 Victorian state election, and how boaters and the industry can look to even higher level commitments for the next electoral cycle.

Also affirmed was the state government's commitment to supporting the Melbourne Boat Show, and early indications of an appetite for improvements in the education and industry skills space.
