Florida State Representatives Tom Leek and Bobby Payne visit Everglades Boats

State Representative Tom Leek (F-25) and State Representative Bobby Payne (F-19) recently visited the Everglades Boats facilities in Edgewater, Florida. The tour, as apart of NMMA’s advocacy efforts and engagement, showcased Everglade’s two facilities and highlighted the economic impact recreational boating has in the state of Florida. The two facilities have a combined total of over 300 employees.

During the visit, Representatives Leek and Payne met with Everglade’s leadership, toured the plants, and met employees to learn about company operations and discuss industry priorities. Topics of discussion included workforce development, industry-education partnership, and industry economic impact.
