To avoid collisions at night, navigation lights are one of the most important tools. Having equipment you can rely on, provides a high level of comfort and allows you to relax a bit during a night voyage.

Lopolight has developed an extensive range of high quality LED navigation lights to help improve safety and minimise the risk of collisions at night. Not only do they have navigation lights but they also design control and monitoring systems along with other functional lighting. Due to their large product range they can be used on yachts, superyachts, naval vessels, workboats and other commercial vessels.

LED Revolution

In the early 2000s, LED (Light Emitting Diode) lights became more advanced and accessible for many applications. Lopolight knew how to take advantage of this trend and has been supplying LED navigation lights to sailors around the world ever since. Over 200,000 LED lights have now been produced in the certified Lopolight factory in Denmark.

LEDs are the future of lighting, and Lopolight has for this reason relaunched their lights in early 2019 with new LEDs, new optics and new electronics, but with the same proven design. In doing so, they have retained all the good features of the first generation.

Main features:

  • Compact design - thanks to the latest developments, the size of the luminaires has been further reduced.
  • IP68 waterproof - Fully potted, no air inside
  • Vibration resistant.
  • Complies with all EMI/RFI standards = no noise on the VHF/AIS.
  • Complete product range - all navigation lights you need available in all imaginable light combinations.
  • Best materials - high quality LEDs, anodized aluminum cases (silver or black)
  • UV-stable acrylic lenses.
  • 5 years warranty.
  • Worldwide approval, for both Wheelmark and USCG Compliance.
  • Strong support from a large sales and service network.
  • To cover not only the European Wheelmark, but also the recently published US Coast Guard guidelines for LED navigation lights, external testing for the lights has been expanded. This includes ABS type approval for the complete navigation light system - the lights together with the control and monitoring system.

The product range is extensive and covers all needs. You can find a wide selection of Lopolight navigation, anchor and deck lights at the link below.
