Exciting announcement: Fee - Free Course Training for NSW Residents

As part of the NSW government Skilled Fee-Free Training initiative, Superyacht Crew Academy offers courses running through the Superyacht Crew Academy that are FREE to eligible students.

If you're interested in getting into the maritime industry or upgrading your qualifications, now is the time to apply.

This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in starting or progressing their careers in the maritime industry. Due to the growing number of marine jobs, qualified marine crews are in high demand.

Current courses running through Superyacht Crew Academy that offer Fee-Free training are:

  • Coxswains Grade 1 Near Coastal
  • Master 24 Near Coastal
  • Marine Engine Driver (MED) 3
  • Marine Engine Driver (MED) 2

There is currently an option to upgrade from your MED 3 to a MED 2 in just 5 days. Course enrolments from December 1, 2022, are eligible for this NSW Fee-Free training initiative. Funding only covers course fee's, additional add on's are not covered such as: safety skill set, radio licence, AMSA Mandated Practical Assessment (AMPA).
