European Boating Industry (EBI), Brussels, and boot Düsseldorf have extended their partnership and confirmed their excellent cooperation with a partnership agreement for three more years.
The association is the official content partner of the world's largest and internationally most important water sports trade fair.
As boot 2023 will bring together all the key representatives of the industry, the Düsseldorf exhibition halls are the ideal place for business talks and for forging new business relationships. EBI organises two high-profile events where policy-makers and industry meet: the well-known International Breakfast Meeting and the brand new blue innovation dock (bid).
The association, which represents the recreational boating industry on a European level, thus provides the essential link and is proud to bring together the most important political and business-relevant decision-makers.
One of the biggest highlights of boot 2023 is the new sustainability forum blue innovation dock (bid), which will celebrate its premiere in Hall 10. With over 100 high-level speakers, the bid will set an international benchmark for sustainability and knowledge transfer, as well as provide a platform for visionary ideas and drive sustainable change in the sector.
The panel discussions, keynotes and presentations taking place across all nine days of the show will cover the full range of issues that are important to the future of recreational boating. Leading speakers from the EU institutions, stakeholders and, of course, the entire water sports industry will have their say. Information on the programme is available here.
On Tuesday 24 January, the traditional International Breakfast Meeting (IBM) will take place from 8.30 to 10.30 a.m. in Room 3 of the CCD South. Here, trade visitors can exchange ideas and discuss the latest market trends, regulations and innovations together with journalists, political and industry experts.
Under the title "Qualifications & skills: Addressing the current and future challenges", experts from various sectors of the industry will present the situation generated by this far-reaching challenge and share with the participants the various initiatives being implemented to promote the growth and further development of the nautical industry.
Registrations for the IBM are still open here.
Both events also attract attention outside the recreational boating and nautical tourism industry and bring together key decision-makers from the EU institutions and other sectors. The presence of the EU institutions will be higher than ever before, further underlining the strong position of the boating industry at EU level.
