Actisense, the marine electronics NMEA specialists, have restructured their leadership team to guide the next phase of their growth strategy. The company, which celebrated its 25 year anniversary last year, is targeting growth in several new potential markets, including transportation and agritech, as their team grows in headcount, now supporting 35 direct jobs in the Dorset economy.

The company's leadership team is now focussed in three core areas: innovation and product development, commercial, and manufacturing operations. The leadership team report to the company board, including founder Phil Whitehurst and Michele Whitehurst.

Amy Miles takes the post of Head of Operations, leading the manufacturing side of the business to ensure maximum product output. With a strong background in operational improvements and management of teams through growth challenges, Amy will oversee the company's production, supply chain and compliance channels.

Justin Cohen continues in his role as Head of Commercial, leading the sales and marketing teams. Having joined the company in 2019, Justin has led commercial strategy to grow company turnover by 40% in that period, as well as building the brand's global footprint in support of the company's 80+ distributors in over 50 countries.

Innes Miller joined the team in 2022 as Head of Technology and Development. He leads the hardware and software teams in the ongoing development of the award-winning NMEA connectivity equipment that Actisense is known for. With a passion for product improvement and new product development, Innes has implemented new internal processes to expedite these advances.
