Freedom Boat Club, the world's largest boat club operator, today announced its newest Club in Canet-en-Roussillon located along the Mediterranean coast.

This new Club provides direct access to pristine waterways and more than five miles of picturesque beaches. With an established presence in the region since 2019, this announcement represents Freedom's fifth franchise location in France and its 41st international location outside of North America.

"Canet-en-Roussillon is centrally located within one hour of the first foothills of the Pyrenees and the Spanish boarder, complementing our existing Freedom locations. With our newest location, we are providing more incredible opportunities for our members to go out boating along the Mediterranean coast in southern Europe."

Located at Capitainerie du Port, the new Club will be led by franchise owner, Julien Bougheraba, who has a background in transportation and a lifelong passion for recreational boating. The new location is planned to open in early Summer 2023 to kickoff France's boating season and will highlight the synergies across Freedom's parent company, Brunswick Corporation, with Quicksilver models powered by Mercury Marine in its fleet.
