The Marina Industries Association (MIA) is excited to announce that registrations for the Marinas24 International Conference and Trade Exhibition (Marinas24) are now open.

Taking place on the 27th and 28th of May 2024 at the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) Brisbane, Queensland, Marinas24 is a must attend event for marina owners, operators and suppliers. Not only is the event the most efficient and effective way to meet with suppliers and learn about the latest range of products and services available on the market, the MIA will once again ensure that networking and information sharing amongst industry peers is another key component.

Andrew Chapman, MIA President commented on the decision to open registrations one year out, "Following the success of Marinas22, and the continued growth of the event in recent times particularly the exhibition component, we want to ensure we provide delegates as much time as possible to confidently plan their attendance."

Mike Harvey, Marinas24 Conference Chair is confident that Marinas24 will be the biggest and best yet, commenting, "The RICC will allow us to attract a greater number of exhibitors and allow those business more room to showcase their products and services, while still providing the intimacy our delegates prefer, by having the sole use of the venue."

The Marinas24 program opens with the traditional welcome cocktail party, to be held in the plaza of the RICC, on the evening of Sunday 26 May, the Conference & Trade Exhibition will run for two full days, closing with a gala dinner on Tuesday evening at Howard Smith Wharves. Delegates will have the option of joining a Study Tour of Brisbane shipyards and marinas on Wednesday 29 May.

The successful Marinas22, held at the tail end of the pandemic, attracted over 320 delegates, MIA CEO Suzanne Davies is looking forward to even more industry colleagues attending, commenting, "As border closures and travel hesitancy are a thing of the past, we are looking forward to welcoming more international colleagues and I encourage anyone that was unable to make it to Marinas22 to lock in your attendance now."

To register for Marinas24 visit marinas-24.com. Our new look conference website will be home to all of the latest conference and exhibition information and will be regularly updated when program details, exhibitors and speakers are announced.

Immediately adjacent to the RICC is the Rydges Fortitude Valley, the MIA has negotiated a hotel buyout for the conference to ensure delegates can stay close to the venue, so close in fact that it is like being in the same venue. There is also an array of hotels around the area and Brisbane if overflow is required.
