A special edition of the Palma Regatta as Oyster Yachts celebrates 50 years in business. The Regatta takes place from 4 - 8 September at the new luxurious location of Port Adriano, Mallorca.

Oyster Yachts from all over the world will gather in September to take part in one of the most social, fun and friendly sailing events in the Mediterranean this summer. Taking place from 4-8 September in a new location at Port Adriano in Mallorca it is one of the most modern and best equipped marinas in the Mediterranean.

Oyster Yachts ranging from 40-90ft are set to enjoy four days of racing, combined with spectacular socials, on and off the water. A highlight will be a 50th anniversary dinner for Oyster Yacht owners taking place on Wednesday 6 September.

Oyster Regattas offer a unique opportunity for Oyster owners, families, friends and crew to come together to socialise and race against each other. The four days of racing are designed to be fun and fair for all abilities and are run in a Corinthian Spirit by the friendly in-house team. Oyster and its partners support participants in the lead up to and during the regatta, from technical support to boat set up, racing tips and other advice. And for those looking for a more leisurely experience, there is the option to participate as a Social Entry, so everyone can enjoy the legendary social events ashore, from dock parties to gala dinner.

"Whether you are an experienced racer, or taking part for the first team, Oyster are here to support everyone to ensure they have a fantastic time both on and off the water," says Oyster Event Manager Millie Bolingbroke.

All Oyster Regattas are run as a Clean Regattas to minimise the impact the event has on the environment. The Regatta was awarded Platinum certification in 2022 and is aiming to repeat this in 2023 by working with local organisations to provide environmentally sound alternatives to single-use plastics, and all documents will be shared digitally documentation through the Oyster app.

Regatta entry closes in July. For more details visit the Oyster Yachts website here.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our regatta partners - Yanmar, Lewmar, Dolphin Sails and B&G.
