Closing out NMMA's 'Top 20' U.S. states for recreational boating economic impact is Florida in the number one spot.

Data from NMMA's recently released 2023 economic impact study, which measured the U.S. recreational boating industry's total economic activity as well number of jobs supported, is a helpful tool when meeting with decision makers or marketing the importance of recreational boating to local and national economies.

Florida has more than $31 billion in annual economic impact and supports over 109,000 jobs in the state. A detailed infographic for Florida can be downloaded by NMMA members and industry stakeholders here.
