A new, luxury day cruiser has arrived in Australia in time for summer boating, offering a head-turning profile, large carrying capacity and fuel economy.

The 7.3-metre Sirocco 730i is an inboard diesel day boat made in the Netherlands that is ideal for cruising Australian waterways, from Sydney Harbour, Pittwater and the Hawkesbury to Port Phillip Bay and the Gold Coast Broadwater and canals.

With her distinctive navy-blue hull and tan bimini for protection against the elements, she's as attractive as she is sturdy. The swim platform provides ease of access and can be used for sunbathing and watersports. The cockpit gate leads to a well-appointed interior, complete with steering console with convenient toilet/storage space, plus the option for an additional cooler and a kitchenette.

The impeccably-crafted teak decks add to the classic aesthetic, complemented by upholstery with high back cushions and U-shaped seating forward around a central table that can be converted into a large sunpad.

"The Sirocco 730i is a big, solid social platform with plenty of space and creature comforts on board for up to 10 guests," says Neil Webster, Managing Director of Sirocco Marine, distributor for the new model.

"It offers owners all the advantages of a diesel shaft drive, superb handling, and user-friendly, economical operation.

Extremely comfortable and stable with a deep-V hull to handle all conditions, the Sirocco 730i delivers speed when it's required, powered by either Vetus 52hp for a top speed of 12 knots, or Yanmar 110hp to reach 20 knots.

Other standard features include a stainless-steel swim ladder, hydraulic steering, bowthruster, and zipper front window in the sprayhood.

"Chic, fresh, economical to run and service, plus offered at an extremely competitive price for all the features and quality construction, we believe this compact and pretty picnic boat will fill a niche.

"The Sirocco 730i will appeal to Australian boaters looking for a versatile motor yacht for enjoying the best things in life with family and friends - slowing down, taking in the scenery, lunch and leisure time together."

People eager to experience the ease and elegance of this unique picnic cruiser can inspect the Sirocco 730i at Sirocco Marine South, Caringbah NSW and Sirocco Marine Queensland on the Gold Coast.
