Following the launch of the new Outer Marina in April this year, the Port of Dover has announced that the renewed Wellington Dock will be fully operational by April 2024, kick-starting the season for berth holders with a full set of facilities.

The new Wellington Dock will bring another 135 berths to Dover and will perfectly complement the state-of-the-art facilities available at its sister site, the Outer Marina, whilst providing a mix of tidal and non-tidal berths.

With its sheltered location and highly secure access, berth holders will enjoy the benefits of Wellington Dock once again, but with a modern twist.

One of the most popular services at the Wellington Dock is the new boatyard, which opened less than a year ago. It can be used by permanent and visiting berth holders to maintain and restore yachts and other leisure vessels of large size.

Chris Windsor, Marina Manager said: "Our customers will have the complete marina experience in Dover; we are delighted that the final piece of the jigsaw will soon be operational. They can enjoy exceptional facilities and customer service, a variety of berthing options and a perfect location for exploring Kent, London and Europe.

With the opening of the Wellington Dock and Outer Marina and new leisure opportunities surrounding the Waterfront, there has never been a better time to be based in Dover and create memories to last a lifetime."

Other highlight features include easy to use electric points, fresh water supply, laundry rooms, full toilet and shower facilities and free Wi-Fi. The Outer Marina also has a dedicated fuel berth. The Port of Dover has its own police team, who patrol the Marina and surrounding areas.
