The Volvo Penta DPI advanced drive package is more a reinvention of the sterndrive than a simple upgrade.

It benefits from advancements in the hydraulic clutch and gearing systems of the IPS 10, as well as all new systems, sensors and anticorrosion protection. Matched with the proven D-6 diesel engine, this fly-by-wire, computer controlled system delivers impressive results.
