Georgia HB 1172 threatens access to state's waters for fishing

A new bill threatens Georgians' access to navigable streams statewide.

HB 1172 would make it unclear where and how the public can fish, hunt, or traverse through streams. If passed, it could create barriers to public access and cause confusion over where you can and can't fish.
