A new kind of maritime consultancy, Maritime IQ, has officially launched operations from its headquarters in Christchurch, New Zealand.

MIQ brings together an international network of seasoned maritime consultants, each boasting decades of in-depth experience across a range of maritime domains.

MIQ is now offering consulting services customised to meet the changing needs of the maritime industry worldwide. The company's expertise spans vessel design, port safety and security, valuations, marine insurance coverage and negotiations, risk assessment, business development and marketing, and marine project management.

"MIQ's was born out of the desire to leverage the vast expertise of experienced maritime professionals and bridge the gap between the modern maritime environment and the time-tested wisdom of folks who have worked in, on and around ships their entire lives," said Geoff Fraser, Founder and Managing Director, MIQ. Fellow director, Marcy Casement goes on to say "We are here to build a new kind of maritime consulting company that offers creative and reliable solutions based on a deep understanding of the maritime industry and backed by our global network of experts who are not just consultants but industry veterans with real-world experience who understand the nuances of the industry."

MIQ prides itself on its ability to deliver tailored advice that is both tested and innovative, helping clients not only navigate the complexities of the maritime world but also seize opportunities for growth and development.

MIQ invites maritime businesses and stakeholders around the globe to explore a partnership that promises not just advice but solutions that drive real value and growth.
