ASA meets with White House to discuss North Atlantic Right Whale Vessel Speed Restriction Rule

On May 20, ASA's Mike Leonard, Vice President of Government Affairs, and Mike Waine, Atlantic Fisheries Policy Director, met with staff from the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs to share our concerns with the overreaching vessel speed restriction rule being sought by NOAA.

The two focused their comments on the rule's flawed economic analysis and risk assessment.
