The happy synergy in place since 1994 has brought Riva into the future, ensuring that it's the most admired shipyard in modern times too, thanks to the formidable mixture of innovative design and unparalleled style featured on every new model.

Riva and design studio Officina Italiana Design announce the renewal of their exclusive collaboration contract for five more years. The agreement, signed at a ceremony attended by Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi and Officina Italiana Design founding partners Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, consolidates a storied partnership born out of the shared desire to create iconic Riva boats that symbolise modern yachting and perpetuate a heritage of superior beauty and elegance.

The new contract, which runs until 2030, was signed in the 'Plancia' or 'Bridge', the office at Riva's Sarnico shipyard once used by Carlo Riva himself.

"Officina Italiana Design is a Renaissance atelier, characterised by an outstanding level of innovation, that has discovered the formula for timeless elegance. Here at Sarnico, where it all started, we've signed an exclusive agreement that will drive the creation of amazing 'Made in Italy' boats featuring unrivalled care, style and design," said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. "2030 is a magnificent horizon of beauty and research that Riva's masterpieces of tomorrow already have in their sights."

"Renewing this collaboration for five more years doesn't only consolidate a decades-old professional relationship, but also confirms that Riva is now an integral part of my and Mauro's personal and emotional story," said Officina Italiana Design CEO Sergio Beretta.

"It's a partnership we're particularly proud of, and the five-year period is also important, because it allows us to pursue a major development plan in which we'll surely face some exciting new challenges," added Officina Italiana Design Chief Designer Mauro Micheli.

With this agreement, Riva and Officina Italiana Design look to the future, driven by the desire to continue imagining, designing and building the world's most beautiful boats together.
