Functional upgrades to popular Bar Crusher models

Always catering to the needs of serious anglers, Bar Crusher has redesigned the dash of its folding-roof C series (cuddy cabin) models.

The new dash layout in the 535C, 575C, 615C and 670C allows flush-mounting of up to a single 16" MFD or up to twin 10" MFDs [twin 9" screens in 535C], giving Bar Crusher owners the flexibility to further personalise boats to their specific requirements.

Bar Crusher general manager Sam Holmes said the dash redesign reflected how people fished around Australia.

"While there had always been the option to fit one or two smaller screens in the dash of our cuddy cabin boats, or flush-mount one unit and bracket-mount another, it was time to modernise our offering," Holmes said.

"The redesign offers new boat owners the security and functionality of flush mounting two larger MFDs - one to run charts / radar and another to run single or dual frequency on the sounder, as is common among offshore anglers - or the option to install the largest single screen they can fit.

"Our C series models are extremely popular right around the country and this updated dash brings the boats more inline with our HT [hard top] series in regard to flexible marine electronics installations."

Along with increased real estate for screens and the addition of a portside glove box, another advantage of the new dash is its 'future proof' design.

"The construction quality and durability of Bar Crusher boats sees many owners hang onto them for many years," Holmes said.

"It's now much easier for owners to upgrade their marine electronics simply by ordering a replacement facia for the dash, which screws into the existing holes."

The upgraded C series models are making their way into Bar Crusher dealerships now.
