Tartan T335 continues to take shape

All of that bright and shiny fiberglass that we see at the boat show is the result of an incredible amount of hard work by skilled crafts people. Over the years Tartan, has been blessed with quite a few lead pattern makers, master plug craftsmen and mold makers.

Today, we continue in the tried-and-true methods of building wooden master plugs that are meticulously detailed and finished by our current team of tooling specialists. While our CNC router has expedited the process and made it more accurate, it still boils down to skilled hands. Enjoy a little time lapse showing the deck plug proceeding from CNC cut frames to the finish stages.
