Over the past few years, recreational fishing and boating participants have been dropping out of these activities at an alarming rate. This trend, called churn, is detrimental to the entire fishing and boating industry, contributing to decreases in sales and revenue and, ultimately, lower funding to support fisheries conservation and clean waterways.
To help combat this troublesome trend, RBFF initiated a comprehensive, multi-phase research project to better understand why anglers and boaters lose interest and how we might stop them from leaving.
Join us on Thursday, September 12th at 2 pm ET to learn more about this research from RBFF and global market research firm Ipsos. The discussion will include:
- An overview of the four phases of research
- Why addressing fishing/boating churn is important to your business
- Common themes as to why people lapse
- Actionable insights and tactics to retain them
Why address churn? Hear from industry and state partners on why it's smart business:
This is a must-attend event for anyone involved in getting more people on the water, including retailers, manufacturers, trade media, government agencies, NGOs, trade associations, community groups, captains, marina owners, charters, guides, and more.
