GOST® (Global Ocean Security Technologies), a world leader in marine security, tracking, monitoring and video surveillance systems, announced today that it is pivoting to become an artificial intelligence-powered company with its new GOST SpecterAi unit and software, which will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from October 30 - November 3 at booth 672 at the Bahia Mar. The demonstration includes a new intelligent video surveillance system powered by AI that allows smart remote vessel monitoring.

The intelligent video surveillance solution and companion app are meant to augment GOST's existing surveillance solution. By leveraging advanced computer vision and machine learning technologies, GOST can provide customers with real-time monitoring, intelligent threat detection and seamless mobile integration. It provides comprehensive visibility into their onboard camera systems, giving owners peace of mind even when their boats are left in remote locations without the benefit of marina security or frequent human oversight. The system incorporates facial recognition of approved guests or crew and object detection on forward-facing cameras to aid in obstacle avoidance.

"We're thrilled to showcase the future of video surveillance," said Jay Keenan, President and CEO, GOST. "Our AI integration offers unparalleled customization and security, setting a new standard in marine monitoring. With upcoming features like remote NMEA 2000 data monitoring, SpecterAi is just the beginning."
