Daniamant, a global leader in marine safety and navigation technology, is excited to introduce its latest innovation, the revolutionary Forward-Looking Sonar—the FLS 3D—30 Degrees.

In a world first introduction at METSTRADE 2024, Daniamant will showcase its cutting-edge FLS 3D—30 Degrees on stand 01.704 from November 19th to 21st.

Building on the success of Daniamant's flagship FLS 3D model, a comprehensive 60-degree, dual transducer view of the seabed ahead; the FLS 3D - 30 Degrees delivers the same robust performance in a streamlined, single-transducer design. Delivering a 30-degree forward view, the single-transducer sonar allows for precise navigation and advanced depth visibility, providing a reassuring level of detail in uncharted or poorly charted waters.

Globally renowned for its leading innovations in the industry of maritime safety equipment, Daniamant has developed a new Average Forward Depth feature integrated with the FLS 3D - 30 Degrees, which calculates the depth toward where the vessel is headed. This breakthrough is an industry-first development, overcoming traditional depth sounders that only measure depth directly beneath the boat, to offer enhanced situational awareness for safer, reliable navigation. Well-suited for all vessel types, the FLS 3D - 30 Degrees is an ideal choice for boaters and captains seeking an advanced sonar system within a reasonable financial investment.

Kevin Rough, Daniamant CEO, comments "We are incredibly proud to introduce the FLS 3D - 30 Degrees, a system that not only showcases our technical expertise but also reflects the feedback and needs of the mariner community. By making high-performance sonar technology more accessible, we are improving navigation, safety and peace of mind for captains and crews alike."

Designed to work seamlessly with all Raymarine Axiom Chart Plotters models, the FLS 3D - 30 Degrees integrates through a simple RJ45 to Raynet cable connection. This connectivity allows for easy control and viewing through the EchoPilot app, providing the captain with confidence by streaming real-time 3D visualisation directly to the viewable Axiom Multi-Functional Display.

The FLS 3D - 30 Degrees is designed in response to customer feedback and market developments, to provide Forward Looking Sonar technology at a more accessible price point and make high-quality navigational tools available to a broader audience of boat owners and captains. The FLS 3D - 30 Degrees combines reliable, high-performance commercial-grade sonar technology with an accessible, value-driven design suited for vessels between 29 and 60 feet.

Daniamant invites all visitors to view the FLS 3D - 30 Degrees for the first time, on stand 01.704 during METSTRADE 2024. Daniamant's team of specialists will be on hand to provide demonstrations and showcase the system's advanced features and intuitive functionality.
