This strategic appointment marks a significant step forward in the brand's journey of growth and innovation as it aims to redefine the zero-emission yachting industry.

Sialia Yachts, a leader in eco-luxury yachting, appointed Milvio Ricci as the new Chief Commercial Officer of Sialia Yachts and its parent company, Silent Straits, further advancing its growth journey.

Milvio Ricci background and experience

Milvio Ricci brings a strong academic background with a degree in Electronic Engineering and an MBA from the University of Birmingham and SDA Bocconi, where he served as President of the Bocconi Sailing Club. This role marked his entry into the yachting industry, leading him to join one of the world's largest yachting groups as Business Development Manager.

While holding this role, Ricci oversaw market expansion and led key acquisitions, including that of the American dealer Allied Marine Group. In 2009, he further strengthened his industry expertise by taking on roles as Brand Manager and Digital Communication Group Manager.

He then broadened his skills as Country Manager/Sales Director at Trend Group and later, in 2012, joined Cerved Credit Management Group, where he established a department specializing in the recovery and sale of leasing assets. In recent years, Ricci has founded and managed several startups, primarily within luxury markets (yachting), services, and finance.

Vision and expertise for the future of Sialia Yachts

With his extensive experience and strategic vision, Milvio Ricci will be responsible for organizing the group, managing the brand portfolio, and overseeing all processes, including sales, to strengthen Sialia Yachts' market position. This appointment confirms Sialia Yachts' commitment to establishing its role as an innovator in the world of eco-luxury yachting, fostering greater awareness of a green future.

"I am very pleased to join such an innovative shipyard," said Ricci. "Our goal is to redefine the world of emission-free yachting, as we have already demonstrated with the Sialia 57 Deep Silence, which recently achieved great success at its American debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show."
