by Garmin 10 Jan 08:48 PST

Garmin (NYSE: GRMN), the world's most innovative and recognised marine electronics manufacturer, announced today that it has been selected by X-Yachts as the supplier of digital switching and monitoring for its new XR 41 model that will be premiered at Boot Düsseldorf 2025.

As digital control, integration and monitoring continue to play an important role in boating, Garmin continues to innovate with purpose-built solutions for automation at the helm and all around the boat.

Pontus Fernstrom, EMEA Marine Segment Director, Garmin added: "We're excited to announce that we can offer our wide range of premium digital switching and monitoring to the XR 41. This new collaboration marks the start of an exciting new chapter for both brands, uniting a shared passion for sailing and underscoring a commitment to enhancing the experiences of our global customers.

We look forward to helping fulfil more passions on the water, and many race wins."

After 45 years of X-Yachts racing history, the XR 41 is a serious return to the X-Yachts DNA. It's created with input from leading design teams, crafted from the finest material, and produced using the most advanced technologies to offer an unmatched racing experience. Optimised for offshore racing, the XR 41 is built to turn every breeze into speed.

"X-Yachts is working with a very selective target group of yacht owners," said X-Yachts CEO Kræn B. Nielsen. "This goes for all our models, and the new XR 41 not least. It is fundamental to cooperate with the best partners and suppliers in the ongoing work with the yachts, and it is in fact quite natural for us to choose Garmin in the XR 41 project."
