New partnership provides smart range technology giving boat owners unprecedented accuracy in range prediction and navigation.

Marine technology company Savvy Navvy and RAD Propulsion, renowned for its groundbreaking electric propulsion systems revolutionising the marine industry, have joined forces to integrate navigation technology into sustainable marine solutions.

The partnership will empower boaters worldwide by integrating power management data with Savvy Navvy smart routing, ensuring seamless journey planning and real-time decision-making on the water. RAD Propulsion users will be able to leverage Savvy Navvy's intuitive charts, delivering vital navigation information seamlessly. Factors like tide, wind, and weather conditions, which can dramatically impact range, are incorporated into Savvy Navvy's smart range technology.

"By integrating RAD's innovative propulsion systems with our Savvy Navvy smart routing technology, we're giving boaters confidence and peace of mind. Together, we're delivering safer, smarter, and more comfortable journeys," says David Cusworth, Head of Partnership and Innovation at Savvy Navvy.

With more than two million downloads, Savvy Navvy continues to innovate by bringing modern tech to electric boat navigation. The partnership is also part of the new 'Savvy Integrated' product from Savvy Navvy - creating navigation solutions for marine manufacturers and suppliers all aiming to simplify and innovate boating navigation for boaters across the globe.

Award-winning RAD Propulsion, based in the UK, continues to expand its presence in global markets as a leader in the development of electric propulsion systems that meet the evolving needs of the maritime industry. Its unique, tech focussed approach positions them to deliver boat builders, commercial operators and high-end leisure users the solutions they need to reduce their carbon footprint.

"The requirement for electric propulsion in the marine world is happening now as customers transition away from their reliance on fossil fuels. We need navigation solutions to follow, enabling smarter solutions for boaters across the globe. By leveraging Savvy Navvy's advanced systems, we aim to provide boat owners with unprecedented accuracy in range prediction and navigation, ensuring they can make the most of their voyages with complete confidence, while minimising environmental impact," said Harry Beadle, Head of Embedded Systems RAD Propulsion.
