Lagoon Catamarans is proud to introduce the highly anticipated Lagoon 38, the newest addition to its world-renowned range of cruising catamarans.

Set to launch in 2025, this 38ft catamaran builds on the legacy of the iconic Lagoon 380—one of the best-selling catamarans ever made, with over 1,000 units sold.

Designed to be the ultimate pocket cruiser, the Lagoon 38 blends modern innovation with the DNA of its predecessor, offering unparalleled volume, smart design, and effortless sailing performance. With influence from the successful Lagoon 42 and 43, this all-new model feels like a much larger catamaran and is well suited to coastal cruising or blue-water adventures.

"The Lagoon 380 was one of the most successful catamarans ever built, and the Lagoon 38 carries that legacy forward with cutting-edge design, increased space, and enhanced performance," says Joe Fox, Lagoon Brand Manager at TMG Yachts. "It's a tough act to follow, but after years of development, this model is set to impress. We're confident it will be an incredibly popular choice for those looking for a manageable and capable cruising vessel."

A fresh take on space and comfort

The Lagoon 38 has been meticulously designed to maximize space, enhance comfort, and create seamless indoor-outdoor living—features typically found on larger catamarans. The cockpit and saloon merge effortlessly, offering multiple configuration options to suit your lifestyle. Choose a full-length dining table extending from the saloon to the cockpit—ideal for entertaining large groups—or opt for a separate cockpit dining setup paired with either a high or low table inside, allowing flexibility for relaxed living or formal dining. The forward-positioned galley maximizes space and functionality, featuring a full-size fridge/freezer, ensuring ample storage for extended cruising.

True to Lagoon's philosophy of effortless movement on board, the Lagoon 38 boasts one-level living, with a single step onto the large aft platforms —a feature that enhances accessibility and ensures easy docking and boarding. At the bow, the forward cockpit offers unmatched space for relaxation, an incredibly rare feature for a 38ft catamaran.

Inside, the three or four-cabin layouts cater to different needs. Both configurations include a larger single head on either side, providing more space and comfort. The master suite, positioned on the port side, features a forward berth, freeing up a larger ensuite and an office/vanity area midships. This smart layout enhances liveability while ensuring ample storage for extended cruising.

"Despite being a 38ft catamaran, the Lagoon 38 feels much larger," says Fox. "The volume is more in line with a 40-footer, and the improved layout ensures every inch is maximized for comfort and usability."

Built for blue-water cruising

The Lagoon 38 stays true to Lagoon's legacy of comfortable, reliable, and capable offshore cruising. Designed with passage making in mind, this model is built for those who dream of crossing oceans and exploring the world with confidence. With a self-tacking jib and optional Code Zero or asymmetric spinnaker, sail handling is simple and efficient, while the low boom and well-positioned sport top helm station provide excellent visibility and ease of control. Powered by twin Yanmar 29HP engines with a 400L fuel capacity, the Lagoon 38 offers dependable performance for extended journeys.

"We've seen countless 38 to 42ft Lagoon owners take their catamarans across the globe—whether crossing the Atlantic or cruising remote island chains," says Joe Fox. "With the option for European delivery, many owners start their adventures straight from the factory in France, setting sail immediately into the Mediterranean or beyond."
