In January boot Düsseldorf 2025 sent a strong signal for the coming season. The world's biggest trade fair for all segments of watersports unambiguously proved itself as the sales platform for international manufacturers and dealers, confirmed by the spokespeople of exhibiting sectors in the wake of boot 2025.

Commenting on this, boot Director Petros Michelidakis said: "The industry's unambiguous vote in favour of boot Düsseldorf shows we are on the right track for the future with our marketing strategies. Over the past few years, we have developed an exhibition structure that fully meets the needs of the sector and offers (trade) visitors maximum variety."

Back in the USA, the 11th edition of Sail America's Industry Conference (SAIC) is coming soon. The three-day event, specifically geared toward sailing industry professionals, will take place at the Annapolis Yacht Club, April 22-24. Held annually, SAIC will host speakers, industry leaders and colleagues. Attendees will learn about new topics and trends and receive industry updates. The conference features a regatta, and a day and a half of educational sessions, and industry networking events including a reception and raffle.

The innovators behind the spectacular new GX Superyachts brand have joined forces with Northrop & Johnson to market the yachts in the Americas. The brand launched in September at the Monaco Yacht Show with the first stunning 42m model in build with an early 2026 delivery. The hybrid propulsion and solar panels slash operational emissions. Northrop & Johnson will market the yachts in the Americas with more models to be unveiled soon.

Benetti is pleased to announce that Federico Ferrante, President of Azimut|Benetti Americas, assumes responsibility for Benetti's commercial development in the Americas. This appointment is part of the Azimut|Benetti Group's consolidated strategy to develop and grow internal resources.

Marine technology company Savvy Navvy has been recognised for its innovative retailer program, winning the prestigious Neptune Award at the Marine Marketers of America (MMA) ceremony held this week at Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show. Savvy Navvy's team collected the 'Best New Product Launch' category award at this year's Neptune Awards in front of more than 250 prominent industry professionals on February 12.

Simrad Yachting, a leader in marine electronics and navigation, today introduced the NSS 4, the latest premium chartplotter and fishfinder in the Simrad portfolio, offering an elevated design, premium performance, and enhanced control capabilities designed for cruisers and offshore sportfishing boats.

The Coast Guard Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to strengthening the Coast Guard community and service by supporting members and families, is pleased to announce that applications for the 2025 scholarship season will be accepted from February 1 to April 1. This annual program provides financial assistance to Coast Guard children pursuing higher education through college or trade school to support tuition, room and board, fees, books, and other education expenses.
