Allspars sponsor Merlin Rocket South West Series

by MROA 19 Mar 01:39 PDT

The Merlin Rocket Owners' Association is delighted to announce Allspars as the title sponsor for the 2025 South West Series.

The series kicks off this weekend with a two-day opening event at Salcombe Yacht Club. This is closely followed by South Cerney Sailing Club on 5th April, Parkstone Yacht Club 19th/20th April, finishing with the grand finale at the Allspars Final Fling hosted by the Royal Western Yacht Club on the 11th/12th October.

"Allspars is incredibly proud to be the title sponsors of the Merlin Rocket Association South West Series 2025," says Matt Churchward from Allspars. "The Merlin Rocket class embodies the perfect blend of skill, innovation, and teamwork—values that align closely with our commitment to delivering top-quality masts and rigging solutions from dinghy to superyacht. Supporting this series allows us to give back to a passionate sailing community, celebrating the spirit of competition on some of the UK's most stunning waters."

To qualify, crews must complete three of the four events and competitors are welcome, with their Merlin Rockets, from across the UK, not just the south west! If this is too far to travel, fear not as the class also has the following regional series; the Allen South East Series, the HD Sails Midland Circuit, the Craftinsure Thames Series.
