SBA launches Made in America Manufacturing Initiative

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) introduced last week its Made in America Manufacturing Initiative, designed to support small manufacturers through regulatory reductions, expanded financing options, and workforce development programs as part of a broader effort to strengthen domestic manufacturing and supply chains.

Key components of the initiative include cutting $100 billion in regulations, launching a Red Tape Hotline for small businesses to report regulatory challenges, and expanding access to SBA loan programs, including the 504 loan for equipment and facility purchases. The SBA is also establishing the Office of Manufacturing and Trade to provide resources and training for small manufacturers.
