Making waves in the commercial marine sector, The Whiskey Project Group (TWPG) - an emerging global leader in the marine manufacturing industry - has unveiled VYCOR, a new line of high-performance commercial watercraft, alongside a refreshed brand identity, marking a pivotal step in its strategic growth.

The launch of VYCOR introduces a versatile range of rugged purpose-built vessels, engineered to meet the demanding operational requirements of the commercial maritime sector. From offshore support and patrol to emergency service search and rescue, these mission-ready platforms are designed to perform in the harshest environments and endure the rigors of daily deployment.

The VYCOR range spans a diverse lineup of high-performance craft—including agile Patrol Boats, resilient Landing Craft Light, robust ProPunts, and adaptable Support Vessels—each meticulously designed and constructed to fulfill its specific role with precision and reliability. Engineered with functionality and crew safety at its core, VYCOR watercraft integrates user-centric features that embody resilience, operational efficiency, and performance where it matters most.

This unveiling marks more than a product launch—it represents a strategic evolution in TWPG's identity and global positioning. The introduction of VYCOR is underpinned by a bold brand refresh that reflects TWPG's commitment to delivering highly specialised vessels defined by innovation, reliability, and maritime excellence.

To bolster its presence in key markets, TWPG is set to begin manufacturing of VYCOR vessels at its Edenton, North Carolina facility, enhancing service capabilities across the Americas. TWPG also operates manufacturing sites in Picton, New Zealand and in Australia across the New South Wales north coast from Sydney (Belrose), Gosford, Morisset, Newcastle and Yamba. With plans under way to expand further into South America and the European Union, TWPG continues its trajectory toward becoming a leading player in the global maritime industry.

The refreshed brand identity unifies TWPG's growing portfolio—bringing together product lines and acquisitions from the past five years under a modern, cohesive visual framework. Featuring updated logos, a redesigned website, and a bold new colour palette, the rebrand reinforces TWPG's position as a forward-thinking group dedicated to delivering the best possible on-water experience across its family of specialised watercraft brands.

TWPG now proudly features three distinct watercraft brands:

  • The Whiskey Project: Specialised military tactical watercraft.
  • NAiAD: High-performance Rigid-Hulled Inflatable Boats (RHIB), designed for a range of applications, including recreational, commercial, and governmental use.
  • VYCOR: Utility-style watercraft such as patrol boats, punts, and landing craft for commercial applications.

Darren Schuback, Chief Executive Officer said, "The launch of VYCOR and the unveiling of our new brand identity represent a defining moment for The Whiskey Project Group. Together, they reflect our evolution into a globally focused, innovation-led company with a clear mission—to deliver exceptional, fit-for-purpose watercraft that meet the real-world demands of operators across the globe. This is more than a product launch; it's a signal of our ambition and momentum as we expand our presence and capabilities in key international markets."

"We're incredibly proud to introduce the VYCOR range — watercraft that showcase our delivery of purpose-built performance, reliability, and innovation to the commercial maritime sector. The market response has been overwhelmingly positive, with initial vessels already delivered to Marine Rescue NSW and the State Emergency Service in Australia."

"The VYCOR launch, paired with our revitalised brand identity, marks a transformative chapter for TWPG. It positions us not only for sustained growth but also for expanded impact across global markets."

"Our VYCOR range is already making waves in the commercial space, reflecting the markets hunger for operator-focused, high-performance vessels and TWPG is poised to meet that demand at scale," said Mr Schuback.
