Opacmare S.p.A., a leading company in boat accessories industry, proudly announce the acquisition of Pin-Craft S.r.l, highly valued company for quality and expertise in the Italian nautical sector.

This operation is a strategic and fundamental step our Group is taking towards our five key targets:

  • Moving closer to an excellence production site: the production site in Viareggio in which Pin-Craft is operating, is one of the throbbing hearts of Italian nautical industry, renowned worldwide for innovation and manufacturing quality.
  • Expanding products portfolio: the acquisition allows us to integrate new solutions and to enlarge our offer so that we can satisfy requests from boats over 50m and strengthen our presence in high quality production segment. The group might be able to meet the needs of boats from 10 to 200m
  • Offering turnkey solutions: Integration of Pin-Craft skills and infrastructure shall enable us to supply our customers with installation included and to optimise service times, costs and quality.
  • Adding value to growth potential of the acquired company: thanks to our network and support, Pin-Craft shall gain access to new markets and significantly increase their turnover, earning a lead role on the international nautical industry.
  • Optimising organisation and production processes: integration will bring synergetic benefits for the entire Group, improving internal effectiveness and increasing overall production capacity.

"We strongly believe that this acquisition shall add value not only to our company, but to clients, suppliers and partners as well. It is a forward-looking choice aiming for growing together towards excellence, innovation and sustainability" says Pietro Sacco, president of Opacmare S.p.A.

The operation and the integration processes have already started with total cooperation from the teams of both companies.
