Over the past quarter-century, Marlow has been an integral part of the team's journey, providing top quality ropes that have contributed to numerous victories and milestones.

Since 2000, the British Sailing Team has achieved remarkable success on the world stage, winning a total of 16 gold medals and 31 medals overall in Olympic sailing competitions. This impressive record has solidified Team GB's position as the most successful sailing nation in Olympic history.

Significant milestones

  • Sydney 2000: The new millennium opened with a stunning performance at the Sydney Olympic Regatta, where Team GBR secured three gold and two silver medals.
  • Athens 2004: The British Sailing Team continued its dominance with two gold medals and one silver and two bronze medals.
  • Beijing 2008: Team GB topped the medal table with four gold medals, one silver, and one bronze.
  • London 2012: The home Olympics saw the team win one gold and four silver medals.
  • Rio 2016: The team added two gold medals and one silver medal to their tally.
  • Tokyo 2020: British sailors won three gold medals, one silver, and one bronze.
  • Paris 2024: Ellie Aldridge became the first-ever women's Formula Kite Olympic champion, and Emma Wilson added a second bronze to her Olympic sailing haul.
