A growing global movement

From Monaco to Miami, Istanbul to Antibes, World Boating Day continues to build momentum as a platform for connection, collaboration, and celebration. With thousands of attendees and millions reached online through the #WorldBoatingDay and #WaveForBoating campaigns, the 2025 edition reinforced the boating industry's role as an engine of joy and community.

"World Boating Day isn't just about celebration - it's a global invitation to experience the joy, connection, and wellbeing that life on the water offers. It's a moment to open our world and share the spirit of boating with everyone," says Dilan Sarac, Executive Director of The Superyacht Life Foundation.

"As the ambassador for World Boating Day in Australia it was great to see in its second year that boating businesses are organically incorporating the celebrations into their marketing activity which definitely increased the wave of awareness across the boating community and those attending official events, " says Luke McCaul, World Boating Day Australia Ambassador.

Plans are already under way for World Boating Day 2026, with more cities and events expected to join the movement.
