Marine Components to show Daniamant's EchoPilot FLS 3D - 30 Degrees a breakthrough in forward-looking sonar technology to meet the needs of the pilot boat operators, exploration vessels, survey boats, crew transfer vessels, and tugs and utility vessels operating in shallow waters.

EchoPilot FLS 3D - 30 Degrees, is suitable for vessels from 29 and 60 ft and offers customers in the workboat sector the following benefits.

Scanning Capabilities

It utilises a single transducer to deliver a 30-degree horizontal and 90-degree vertical scan, offering a forward range of up to 200 meters and a depth range of 100 metres.

Average Forward Depth (AFD)

The first of its kind, is an innovative feature that calculates the average depth ahead of the vessel, providing more accurate information than traditional depth sounders that only measure directly beneath the boat.

High Depth-to-Range Ratio

Achieves a 20:1 depth-to-range ratio, allowing detection of obstacles 100 meters ahead in just 5 meters of water depth.

Real-Time Updates

The display refreshes every 1 to 1.5 seconds, ensuring up-to-date information on seabed terrain and potential hazards.

"Marine Components International Ltd is a global distributor for Daniamant and we are excited to be able to show the EchoPilot FLS 3D-30 Degrees, in what we believe is its first appearance in the UK," says David Ellis, sales and marketing manager for MCI Ltd. "For workboats and smaller commercial vessels seeking advanced sonar capabilities without the higher price tag, the EchoPilot FLS 3D - 30 Degrees presents a compelling option."

The EchoPilot FLS 3D - 30 Degrees offers an affordable, compact solution with 3D imaging capabilities, making it ideal for smaller vessels operating in shallow or uncharted waters. Its integration with third-party displays and Raymarine Axiom systems adds to its versatility.

Come and see a live demonstration EchoPilot FLS 3D - 30 Degrees on the Marine Components International Stand G12 at Seawork International 2025, 10th to 12th June.
