Barton Marine are pleased to introduce a new range of Bulkhead Pipe Glands at Seawork 2025. Available in a wide variety of sizes, compatible with angled entry of pipes and curved surfaces, they are suitable for specification on almost all vessel types.
With the vast majority of market offerings designed for cables, Barton are pleased to provide a sought-after solution with glands featuring apertures greater than 25mm. Boat builders, refit yards, surveyors, naval engineers and architects are all invited to discover the highly useful range on Seawork Stand Q18.
The new, high quality Bulkhead Pipe Glands range meets the recently updated MCA Workboat Code 3 and MGN200 regulations as well as being compatible with the MCA Pleasure, Sport and Leisure Codes of Practice, providing installers with peace of mind that they are adhering to required standards.
Delivering a fully water and vapour tight seal as pipes pass through bulkheads both horizontally and vertically, whilst enabling full adjustability and servicing capabilities, the Bulkhead Pipe Glands ensure compartment watertight integrity at all points where pipes traverse through the vessel. The glands suspend pipes through bulkheads minimising the risk of vibration, chaffing and the transfer of sound and smells. Construction from 316 marine grade stainless steel and nitrile rubber (BS2751) means the glands are durable in the most challenging areas of vessels, regardless of oils, chemicals or environmental conditions.
Jeff Webber, Chief Commercial Officer at Barton Marine said, "The new range of Bulkhead Pipe Glands can be used to seal through most bulkhead substates including, Fibreglass, Polyethylene, Steel & Polyprop. Designed to give a watertight and vapour tight seal between compartments, where pipes, wiring & LPG installations move through the vessel. Bulkhead watertight integrity is essential in modern boat building and pipes moving through the vessel bulkheads always present a challenge. Our new range provides the optimum solution, with the ability to service, adjust and remove pipes/cables if needed".
Barton Marine can be found alongside UK distributor Barrus Marine at Seawork on stand Q18 from the 10th - 12th June. To discover the expansive range of deck hardware prior to the show visit bartonmarine.com.
