Saturday 14th June saw perfect sailing weather at Stewartby Water Sports Club: warm, sunny, and windy just the way we like it! Sailors aged 10 to 18 from all over Milton Keynes and Bucks came together for three exciting races.
Race officer Colin and his volunteer team did a great job setting exciting courses, making sure everyone enjoyed challenging, competitive sailing.
In Race 1, Aidan Harris sailed brilliantly in his Laser, taking first place. Joshua Evans and Oliver Boyd had a great race in their RS Feva and finished second. Special mention goes to Hayden Clark from Stewartby WSC, who sailed his Laser 4.7 superbly to finish third!
Race 2 saw Aidan Harris again in top form, securing another win. Joshua Evans and Oliver Boyd repeated their second-place finish, showing excellent consistency, and Grace Muldoon and Lucy Rodler in the RS200 sailed strongly into third. Stewartbys Shane Mackinnon did well, grabbing sixth place in his Laser Radial.
In Race 3, Aidan Harris completed a perfect day, winning again! Joshua and Oliver were super consistent, finishing second once more, and Grace and Lucy secured another third-place finish.

Big thumbs up to our Stewartby sailors Hayden Clark and Shane Mackinnon who sailed hard and represented us brilliantly throughout the day. You both did a fantastic job!
