As part of NMMA's continued advocacy efforts following the 2025 American Boating Congress (ABC), a group of NMMA leaders visited Capitol Hill last week to meet with Congressman Mike Collins (GA-10) — a committed supporter of American boat building and outdoor recreation.

The NMMA delegation included Jeff Wasil, Vice President of Environmental Compliance and Marine Technology; John McKnight, Environmental Health and Safety Technical Advisor; Robyn Boerstling, Senior Vice President of Government Relations; Kemba Solomon, Regulatory and Technical Affairs Director at Yamaha Marine USA; and Jonathan Godfrey, Engineering Technical Expert for composites at Regulator Marine.

Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts have finalized the acquisition of Casey's Marina at Spring Wharf in the heart of Newport, Rhode Island Harbor — the nation's storied sailing capital and former America's Cup venue. The purchase, which also includes the adjacent 10,000-square-foot Waites Wharf, builds on the brands' seasonal presence established in 2018.
