A80new, the result of a new concept of freedom at sea based on respect for nature like all Arcadia Yachts projects, is a boat of just under 24 metres that can navigate and anchor anywhere in full compliance with Posidonia Oceanica protection regulations.

Alongside the Shipyard’s latest project, which will make its world premiere in Cannes, the other yachts showcased at the event will be A96new, Sherpa 60 and Sherpa 80.

Arcadia Yachts chooses the Cannes Yachting Festival for the world premiere of its latest model, the A80new, the first RPH (Raised Pilot House) yacht created by the Shipyard based on a new concept of cruising freedom, which features a series of characteristics never before seen together on a yacht of this size. The new model is just under 24 metres long and complies with the latest regulations designed to protect Posidonia Oceanica, offering complete cruising freedom as well as the ability to anchor in and explore any bay or cove without damaging the natural environment. Fitted with latest-generation solar panels, the new yacht offers excellent performance at 13-15 knots – the ideal speed to enjoy the natural environment to the full – as well as a series of unique features on a yacht just under 24 metres in length: wide body, master quarters on the Main Deck, five cabins, quarters for four crew in the bow offering maximum privacy and service, and finally the most spacious Upper Deck in the category, with a total surface area of 80 square metres. The interiors are furnished with natural wood and the propulsion system consists of two Volvo Penta IPS engines.

Alongside the latest new yacht, the Shipyard will also be showcasing three other models. A96new is a 30-metre yacht with five cabins, an extremely high level of service, and latest generation propulsion and stabilizer systems, standing out for its approach that offers holistic well-being alternating moments of sharing with others of deep communion with nature. The shallow draught and compact engine size make it possible to navigate in practically any waters.

The four Volvo Penta engines guarantee manoeuvrability, extended range, low emissions and acoustic comfort.

Characterised by extreme flexibility, Sherpa 60 is 18.67 metres long and has a layout that privileges the stern cockpit, living area and cabins, thanks in part to the 5.60-metre beam. Two Volvo Penta IPS engines rated from 600 to 800 HP provide excellent range at the slow yachting speeds embraced by the shipyard, cruising at 17 knots and reaching a top speed of 22 knots.

With a length of 24 metres and a generous 7-metre beam, Sherpa 80 offers a total of 220 square meters of liveable indoor and outdoor surface area. The decks are cleverly staggered in an interlocking design to provide plenty of space and freedom to work with the volumes. The nearly 65-square-metre cockpit is connected to the stern swim platform by a striking sequence of steps that enhances the relationship with the water, not least thanks to the side garage, which leaves all the outdoor spaces free and accessible. The dining area on the Aft Deck can be converted into a jardin d’hiver. This model too makes extensive use of solar panels, and the propulsion system consisting of two Volvo Penta IPS units translates into reduced fuel consumption.
