The Boating Industry Association and Mulpha Events have unveiled the second of two dynamic new-format events for Sydney in 2025 and exhibitor applications are now open.

The Sydney International On-Water Boat Show is taking place from 13-16 November across Cockle Bay, Tumbalong Park, and Tumbalong Boulevard in Darling Harbour, this luxury-focused showcase brings together the very best in boating, marine innovation, and waterfront lifestyle. This is your opportunity to present your brand in a truly iconic setting, connect with high-value audiences, and be part of a reimagined marine event in the heart of Sydney.

In New Zealand, the Whangarei Maritime Festival is back for its third year, and it's quickly becoming one of New Zealand's standout regional events. After welcoming over 20,000 attendees in 2024, the festival has firmly established itself as a favourite on Northland's events calendar — bringing life, learning, and celebration to the Whangarei Town Basin.

Next month, Whittley Marine Group, Australia's largest national trailer boat group, is set to release a six-strong new series of pressed and plate aluminium boats. Alongside the launch of their new Honda Repower Division is the Australian debut of the latest Honda 150 and V6 250 outboard engine models at the Sydney Boat Show. The new look show format this year is at the Sydney Showgrounds, 14-17 August.

Further north, Coral Sea Marina's Better Boating Expo, held on 11 July, welcomed a vibrant crowd of locals, visitors, and members of the boating community for a day packed with education, entertainment, and environmental advocacy at the Coral Sea Marina Gardens. From safety at sea to sustainability tips and local reef knowledge, the expo offered a fun-filled and informative day for all ages. Families and children, in particular, were thrilled by the live life raft demonstration.

Sailors will be pleased to hear of the sponsorship of one of Australia's favourite race weeks. Dufour Yachts has announced its official sponsorship of Hamilton Island Race Week, as the iconic event celebrates 40 years of racing in paradise from 16-23 August. Held in the heart of the stunning Whitsundays, Hamilton Island Race Week offers the ultimate blend of competitive sailing and unforgettable island festivities. This year, Dufour Yachts will be front and centre with The Yacht Sales Co. team, with the acclaimed Dufour 44 on full display and racing throughout the event.

Staying in Queensland, World Wide Boat Brokers (WWBB), a rapidly expanding yacht brokerage in the Australian marine industry, is proud to announce its appointment as the exclusive Australian dealer for Southerly Yachts. This prestigious appointment marks a major milestone in WWBB's growth, as it enters the new boat sales market with a focus on innovation, performance, and versatility. "We couldn't be happier with regards to this collaboration. World Wide Boat Brokers are an incredible team," said Alex Tucker, Head of Yacht Sales at Southerly Yachts.

Meanwhile, Dunbier boat trailers have officially announced the opening of their National "Re-trailer Centre" network. In an industry first, the national network of over 25 specialised dealers is now open and claim to offer Australian Trailer boat owners an unmatched level of service, expert advice and outstanding level of customer care.
