18-20 July 2025
The Cape 31 fleet kicked off racing in Imperia with two races sailed in light and tricky conditions, demanding patience and precision from teams across the board.
Stig (USA 76) sits at the top after scoring a 2nd and a 1st, edging out Black Star (SUI 27)—who took the win in Race 1 and followed with a 2nd—on countback. Both teams finish the day tied with 3 points.
Pacific Yankee (USA 62) rounds out the provisional podium after staying steady in the light breeze with scores of 6 and 4. Warrior Won (USA 74) rebounded from a tough first race to post a 3rd in the second and sits fourth overall, followed by Eker Süzme (TUR 50) in fifth.
While Saturday's forecast is calling for another light day on the water, all eyes are on Sunday, when stronger breeze is expected to shake up the fleet and test the boats in true Cape 31 conditions.
