While most sailing wetsuits are stiff and gape, letting cold air and water in - the Vaikobi 3.5mm wetsuit top I bought last month has been excellent. Stretches nicely, hugs the body and arms, and is so toasty for winter sailing. I've also had the 1.5mm pant for three seasons, similar great experience.

Autumn kayak fishing in Scotland in a stiff breeze. This pursuit can require a lot of sitting about without moving. For this I was kept warm despite the cool October breeze. With my legs over the side for long periods I didn't feel any cold. The parts not covered did get cold after a bit over an hour wearing a Vaikobi Flexforce 1.5mm top, though I would have been fine if active, most likely, but I hope that shows that the extra thickness ensured extra warmth. I never needed to pee using the excellent new addition of the relief vent, but that'll come in time. A comfortable fit & easy to move around, good purchase for Scottish waters.
