Partnerships and product launches set to drive industry momentum

VETUS, leading developers of complete onboard boat systems and Maxwell, developer of the highest quality anchoring solutions, will present a wide range of innovations at two of the world's leading B2B marine events.

Renowned for setting standards in marine technology, VETUS continues to enhance the boating experience with innovative solutions that ensure the most essential systems onboard function seamlessly, even when pushed to their limits.

During the shows, industry professionals will discover how VETUS' advanced engineering solutions are driving innovation and operational efficiency across the marine sector.

IBEX, 7-9 October

As part of the wider Recreational Marine Business Unit including YANMAR, Flexofold and Smartgyro, VETUS and Maxwell will appear at IBEX, North America's leading technical boat-building showcase. The team will be located at Stand 3-1623 and within the Sustainable Technology Pavilion alongside YANMAR Marine at booth 1-303.

VETUS will be onboard two fully integrated demo boats during IBEX, both available for sea trials:

  • Dock D-27: Step aboard the VETUS-Suzuki Marine demo boat and discover the integrated joystick control system. Combining Suzuki's advanced controls with VETUS BOW PRO thrusters, it delivers effortless, precise, and intuitive docking for every boater.

  • Dock D-18: The VETUS-Ultraflex—Honda Marine demo boat demonstrates seamless integration across propulsion, steering, and control systems.

To schedule a sea trial and experience the systems in action, head to the VETUS team at Booth 3-1623 and speak with a sales manager or engineer.

Visitors to this year's show will also learn more about VETUS' partnership with Mastry Engine Center to launch factory-backed thruster installations, delivering a powerful value-add for both boaters and OEMs. This new program provides professional-grade installation with the confidence of a three-year warranty, streamlining the integration process and reducing time-to-market for builders.

As part of its growing support for OEMs and design engineers, VETUS will feature a live demonstration of its Augmented Reality and 3D scanning, both offering seamless product integration technology. Presented by one of our YANMAR applications engineers, the demo will show how OEMs can visualize VETUS systems in their build projects with pinpoint accuracy, ensuring optimal fit, function, and efficiency right from the design phase.

Christopher DeBoy, President at VETUS Maxwell US, said: "IBEX offers one of the premier platforms for connecting with brands and building meaningful industry relationships. Each year, our stand attracts a diverse audience who leave with a deeper understanding of our product innovations and a renewed excitement for what's ahead. It's an ideal setting for boaters, builders, and marine professionals to experience firsthand how VETUS, alongside other brands in the YANMAR Marine Recreational Business Unit are helping shape the future of boating."

Metstrade, 18-21 November

Following IBEX, the team will head to Metstrade, the world's largest international B2B exhibition for the leisure marine industry, taking place 18-21 November in Amsterdam. VETUS will exhibit at Stand 01.341 alongside YANMAR Marine at stand 01.343.

A selection of cutting-edge products designed to make life onboard easier, quieter, and more efficient will be highlighted, including:

The BOW PRO Boosted series, featuring proportional control and maintenance-free brushless induction motors, these thrusters offer extended run times compared to conventional DC thrusters, ensuring you have the power you need exactly when you need it. Ideal for vessels ranging from 25m to 40m.

The E-LINE range, a compact and efficient 48V electric propulsion system for both new builds and repower projects. With VETUS's Active Electronic Braking, the system ensures precise control without the need for a gearbox or clutch. Its high-torque electric motor allows for rapid directional changes, enabling the boat to stop within one boat length.

A comprehensive range of Maxwell Power and Sail anchoring solutions, designed to cater to the diverse needs of pleasure boats, and commercial vessels, ensuring that every boating experience is anchored in safety and convenience.

Maxwell will be showcasing its industry-leading Superyacht anchoring solutions on stand 09.203, including:

The SY32 windlass, which played a pivotal role in advancing Maxwell's capabilities in the superyacht sector. Designed to meet the evolving demands of larger vessels, the SY32 has been featured on some of the world's most prestigious yachts, offering a combination of power, durability, and refined aesthetics that elevate both function and form. Whether installed on luxury yachts or high-performance commercial vessels, the SY32 remains a trusted choice for superior anchoring.

Maxwell's Windlass range further reinforces its commitment to innovation, providing seamless and reliable solutions for a variety of superyacht applications.

Sander Gesink, Marketing Director at VETUS said: "Our presence at METSTRADE comes at a pivotal moment in our product development journey. With new collaborations under way and innovative products ready to be unveiled, we anticipate a highly productive close to the year. I'm looking forward to showcasing our latest systems and strengthening connections with key partners and customers across the industry."

Showcasing real life stories surrounding the highs and lows of boat building, VETUS ambassador 'Odd Life Crafting' will host a live Meet & Greet on Wednesday, November 19. People can hear their insights from their sailing journey and their current boat build project.
