Greenline Yachts unveils the all-new Greenline 42
by Greenline Yachts 5 Nov 00:46 PST
Greenline Yachts has announced the launch of the highly anticipated Greenline 42, a model that marks an important new chapter in the brand's ongoing evolution. While Greenline is widely recognised for leading the marine industry with hybrid technology since 2008, the Greenline 42 is equally defined by its new styling direction, its advanced technical build, and its increased emphasis on performance and onboard comfort.
Positioned between the popular 39 and 40, and the 45, the Greenline 42 fills a key space in the range, offering versatile cockpit options, a refined and airier interior layout, and a completely new hull designed to deliver high performance and handling confidence. The model's updated design language draws inspiration from the flagship Greenline 58, now recognised as the benchmark of the fleet.
Designed by Marco Casali (Too Design) and engineered by Micad, the Greenline 42 features contemporary European styling and a seamless indoor to outdoor flow that enhances social connection and ease of movement onboard. A lighter galley arrangement with sliding side windows opens the saloon to the surroundings, while new furniture lines and cabinetry options increase customisation and aesthetic choice.
Choice of propulsion, designed for every way you cruise
The Greenline 42 is available with traditional diesel propulsion or Greenline's well-established 6th generation hybrid system. The key advantage is choice. Owners can select the configuration that best aligns with their boating style.
The yacht includes up to 4.3 kW of solar power as standard, allowing constant 230V power onboard for comfort and peace on anchor and reducing reliance on generators. When the hybrid system is selected, owners can enjoy the ability to cruise silently at low speeds in electric mode, switching to diesel for longer passages, higher performance and recharging the LiFePo batteries.
Key features:
- Completely New Hull prioritising performance, efficiency and stability
- Versatile Cockpit Layout Options to suit different styles of boating
- Light Filled Galley with sliding side windows and updated styling inspired by the GL 58
- Up to 4.3 kW Solar Power for quiet nights at anchor and reduced generator use
- Hybrid Propulsion Option offering silent, emission free cruising
- Spacious Bow Lounge designed for relaxation and connection
- Ergonomic Hard Top providing protection with a clean, refined profile
- Two Cabin Layout available with one or two heads, plus convertible berths for guests
"We believe modern boaters are ready for the next step in the evolution of leisure boating and are becoming increasingly aware that we must preserve the environment for future generations," said Vladimir Zinchenko, Owner and CEO of Greenline Yachts.
