Anchor Swivel

Born from extensive R&D by the Wichard design office, the new anchor swivel will be unveiled exclusively at the METSTRADE professional boat show in Amsterdam in 2025, ahead of its market launch.

The design process began with a simple observation: anchoring maneuvers are not always as smooth as users would like them to be. As a true link of trust, suitable for both sailing and powerboats, this new product is set to win over all boating enthusiasts.

Combining strength and ingenuity, the anchor swivel features an exclusive design with a clever hood that enables the anchor to automatically flip into the correct position on the bow roller. This shape ensures proper anchor alignment, even when the anchor is initially misaligned, effectively eliminating the risk of jamming.

Manufactured from 316L stainless steel, the Wichard anchor swivel offers outstanding corrosion resistance and exceptional durability. Its carefully polished finish prevents snagging or friction points that could interfere with the passage through the bow roller.

Designed by French deck hardware leader Wichard, the anchor swivel is compatible with most anchors on the market and comes in three models, covering 90% of existing configurations.

Description:

  • Self-aligning to bow roller
  • 3 sizes
  • For chains from 1/4" to 9/16" (6mm to 14mm)
  • Compatible with most anchors on the market
  • 316L stainless steel, highly resistant to corrosion
  • Indicative retail price: from €90 incl. VAT (France)

Moulded Stick-on Padeye - Softeye 45

In 2025, Wichard's stick-on padeye has been redesigned to offer a cheaper alternative that maintains the SoftEye range's well-known reliability and sleek aesthetic. It will be officially unveiled at the METSTRADE marine equipment boat show in Amsterdam. A small, unassuming piece at first glance, yet one that will delight users thanks to its wide range of potential applications!

Building on the previous generation, this new version benefits from an optimized injection process that delivers a homogeneous part with equivalent performance characteristics, but at a more affordable price.

Available in two colours (white and black), it blends seamlessly into any environment and suits all types of boats and sailing programs, from cruising to racing.

Designed as a complement to the SoftEye 40, the new SoftEye 45 stands out for its versatility: ideal for securing stowage covers, retaining lines, holding equipment, rigging lazy jacks, or even serving as soft textile handholds.

Tested and approved by several seasoned sailors, who praised both its holding power and ease of installation, Wichard's moulded stick-on padeye establishes itself as a discreet yet trustworthy attachment point.

Description:

  • A: 45 mm
  • L: 20mm
  • Working load: 80 Kg
  • Breaking load: 150 Kg
  • Rope diameter: 3 mm (Dyneema® SK78)

Speedlink Range (renewal)

The Wichard Speedlink trigger snap shackle has undergone a major redesign, driven by a simple objective: to deliver even greater reliability without compromising the speed and ease of use that have defined its reputation since its launch in 2009.

This new generation of the Speedlink range will be unveiled exclusively at the METSTRADE professional boat show in Amsterdam, in November 2025.

The new Speedlink retains its core DNA: lightweight, strong, ergonomic, and intuitive, while incorporating a long-awaited enhancement from users worldwide.

Developed through extensive field feedback, this latest evolution features an innovative locking system designed to prevent accidental opening. The trigger snap shackle can now be used in On/Off mode, thanks to a dual-action safety mechanism that is ergonomic and easy to operate, even single-handed.

Tested in real-world sailing conditions, the verdict is unanimous: instinctive handling, reassuring locking, and zero accidental releases, even under intense sail flogging.

Available in four standard-eye models and four wide-eye versions, the range also includes three models equipped with remote-release systems, offering a comprehensive choice for every deck layout or maneuvering configuration. The new locking function is available on a selection of three universal-eye models.

Despite these technical advancements, the Speedlink remains true to its price positioning: a premium yet accessible solution, perfectly suited to both intensive sailors and those seeking greater peace of mind on the water.

Description:

  • 4 models with standard eye
  • 4 models with wide eye
  • 3 models with remote-release system
  • Indicative retail price: from €140 incl. VAT (France)

Friction Rings (large opening)

The Wichard friction ring range is literally expanding, with the introduction of a new large opening version designed to meet the evolving demands of modern sail handling and 3D trimming systems. This new ring will make its first appearance at the METSTRADE marine equipment trade show in Amsterdam, in November 2025.

This latest addition complements the existing range without altering its core identity. Still compact and lightweight, the ring now accommodates multiple lines, opening up new rigging possibilities.

The new model features a wide central opening for several lines, combined with a narrow outer groove that helps maintain it securely in position. This seemingly simple detail ensures optimal 3D sail control by reducing friction and line-angle constraints.

Tested in real-world conditions, the ring has demonstrated highly efficient line deflection even under heavy loads, while protecting ropes from premature wear.

Available in four models, it is equally suited to lightweight dinghy setups and the more complex deck layouts of high-peormance cruising or racing boats. Rather than replacing existing rings, it simply fills a long-standing gap: the need for a multiple-line passage, with no compromises.

Description:

  • 4 models
  • 3D sail trimming capability
  • Aluminium (lightweight and durable)
  • Indicative retail price: from €31 incl. VAT (France)

Aquaterra Knives (Range Renewal)

Eleven years after its debut, the Aquaterra knife is being reinvented for 2025 with a clear ambition: to modernize the range without betraying its heritage, introducing a new palette of bold, unifying colours that reflect today's trends and tastes.

This refreshed version will be unveiled exclusively at the METSTRADE marine equipment trade show in Amsterdam in November 2025, marking the beginning of a new era for this essential companion, at sea and on land alike.

Born from a community survey conducted on social media, the new colour identity is the result of a genuine co-creation process with our customers.

Moreover, the two-tone handle designs proposed online were developed in collaboration with the design team at Courant, a rope specialist for over 200 years, known for its modern, distinctive identity, and part of the Wichard Groupe. Together, they have created a range that speaks to water sports enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers alike: kayakers, suffers, anglers, hikers, and more.

The result: three strong visual worlds (Tropical, Anemona, and Atlantic) names that sound like destinations and inspire exploration.

The range still revolves around two signature models:

  • A single plain blade version
  • A single blade + corkscrew version

Both remain the ideal companions for all outdoor pursuits.

Description:

  • 3 colors: Tropical, Anemona, Atlantic
  • Highly corrosion-resistant MA5 stainless steel
  • Ultra-tough handle (temperature-resistant from -60 degreesC to +100 degreesC)
  • Indicative retail price (single-blade): from €19.85 incl. VAT
  • Indicative retail price (blade + corkscrew): from €27.95 incl. VAT (France)

Onboard Bracelet
with 25mm snap hook - 3 colors

First unveiled exclusively at the METSTRADE marine equipment trade show in Amsterdam in 2024, in a navy blue version only, the Onboard bracelet now officially joins the Wichard catalogue. It will be presented in three colors (blue, pink, and orange) at METSTRADE 2025.

Combining elegance with authenticity, this bracelet pairs a Made in France cord with a genuine Wichard snap hook, forged in our workshops. More than just an accessory, it's a subtle tribute to the marine world and to French craftsmanship.

Forged from 316L stainless steel, the snap hook jewel combines strength, corrosion resistance, and contemporary design. Weighing just 6 grams and measuring 25 mm, it bears the discreet engravings "F" (for Forged) on one side and "W" (for Wichard) on the other, understated and refined.

The finishing process involves vibratory polishing, eliminating any microscopic surface roughness. The snap hooks are placed in a polishing bath with abrasive media and compound, where gentle vibrations give them their brilliant shine.

In keeping with Wichard's commitment to Made in France and short supply chains, the bracelet cord is produced by Gauthier Fils, a specialist in braids, cords, and laces, with 150 years of heritage, located just a few dozen kilometres (approximately 23 miles) from the Wichard factory.

Description:

  • Polished 316L stainless steel snap hook
  • 6g, 25mm
  • Adjustable cord to fit all wrist sizes
  • 3 colors: navy blue, powder pink and bright orange
