Nelson Marina's new online hub utilises AI to collate information from marina stakeholders and connect directly to its community.

Nelson Marina has developed and launched a new online hub that utilises AI to bring information together about virtually everything happening within the marina - including:

  • 16 marina categories from maintenance services to rental cars, training, and more
  • A searchable market place and events calendar
  • A community forum where businesses can share info with their followers
  • A directory
  • A project marketplace for boat jobs

Launched in early November, it already has more than 800 members.

Alex Ive says it is simple to use and effective and that one innovative feature that supports both boat owners and tenant businesses is the project marketplace.

"Boat owners can create jobs and upload photos to the site allowing business to provide quotes. Over time we will see this expand and include more features to help get those repairs and maintenance jobs sorted."

"The Nelson Marina Digital Hub is more than just a business directory but is a centre for all marina stakeholders to network and engage."

It was created using the towncentre.ai hub with Nelson company Flaxx.
