Jon Partridge Steps Down After 25 Years of Dedicated Service at RS Sailing

After 25 years of dedicated service, Jon Partridge has made the decision to step down from his role as Managing Director of RS Sailing.

Jon's journey with RS Sailing began a quarter of a century ago, marked by unwavering dedication and visionary leadership. Rising to joint-CEO in 2015, Jon steered RS through some of the industry's most difficult periods, including the global Covid pandemic, always championing the strength and unity of the RS community.

Among his many achievements, Jon has been instrumental in the success of the RS Feva class, which has grown into the world's leading junior double handed dinghy. He also led the expansion of RS into new international markets, establishing a robust dealer network that has introduced RS boats to sailors around the world. Under his guidance, RS Sailing has grown into one of the most respected dinghy and sailing brands globally, inspiring sailors of all ages and abilities.

Jon's energy and passion have shaped RS fleets and communities worldwide, fostering a spirit of participation and camaraderie through memorable events and initiatives. The entire RS team is profoundly grateful for his loyalty and the legacy he leaves behind.

Although Jon is stepping back from his Managing Director role, we are pleased to share that he will continue to contribute in a consultancy capacity for a period, ensuring a smooth transition and the handover of key relationships and expertise.
