E3 Displays completes strategic re-alignment to better service customers in marine markets

by E3 Displays 9 Jan 16:17 PST

E3 Displays, a premier provider of high-performance display solutions, announced today it has completed a strategic re-alignment to better service customers in key markets.

In the wake of its recent successful acquisition by Ubiqconn, a global leader in rugged mobile computing solutions, E3 Displays is poised for growth in several key industries, including a renewed focus on the marine space. To best support initiatives in 2026 and beyond, Tim Tsai has been appointed CEO of E3 Displays. He will oversee the company's strategic direction and bring on new talent to open new opportunities in developing markets.

Chuck Rahrig, former president and co-founder of E3 Displays prior to its acquisition, will serve as Chief Operating Officer, where he will handle day-to-day operations of the company. The strategic acquisition of E3 Displays by Ubiqconn has strengthen both companies' footprint in North America and greatly enhanced its capabilities in advanced optical bonding and display technology.

"I am excited to take the reins at E3 Displays as we set out to capitalize on countless opportunities that are currently in the works," said Tim Tsai, CEO of Ubiqconn Technology (USA) Inc. "The changes we are making to our management structure will add tremendous versatility to our brands and allow us to maximize our expansion into new markets, while continuing to provide top tier solutions."

"We have a loyal existing customer base," said Rahrig. "I am really looking forward to meeting the challenges of my new capacity as COO of E3 Displays, particularly to focusing my attention on servicing our existing customers and building new partnerships. As a team, we welcome a new and exciting chapter in our brands' history for customers and employees alike."

E3 Displays has built a strong reputation for its cutting-edge optical bonding processes, durability-focused display solutions, and extensive certifications for military, avionics, and medical applications. Ubiqconn is integrating these advanced technologies into its rugged computing solutions, creating a unique and differentiated offering for mission-critical applications.
