World premiere of Aquila's first sailboat and new sport power catamaran

Aquila Catamarans will launch its 50 Sail and 45 Sport models with world debuts at this year's Miami International Boat Show (MIBS), February 11-15. These launches form part of an eight-strong line up for Aquila at the show, showcasing the brand's versatile range of vessels catering to different buyer requirements.

The full Aquila lineup at Miami International Boat Show includes:

  • Aquila 50 Sail (world premiere)
  • Aquila 45 Sport (world premiere)
  • Aquila 54 Yacht
  • Aquila 50 Yacht
  • Aquila 46 Yacht
  • Aquila 42 Coupe
  • Aquila 47 Molokai
  • Aquila 36 Molokai

50 Sail

At the Annapolis Sailboat Show in 2025, Aquila announced its expansion into the sail market. Utilizing its proven heritage in creating leading power catamarans and its senior leadership team's background in high-level competitive sailing, Aquila is launching the 50 Sail at MIBS.

Incorporating advanced composite techniques and precise quality control, the 50 Sail will feature a fixed bow entertaining space and a choice of four, five, or six cabin configurations with private entrances. It also has bridge-to-bow access for easy movement from flybridge to foredeck cockpit.

Propulsion options are open to suit different cruising styles, with either diesel engines or whisper-quiet Hybrid Ocean Drive™ available.

45 Sport

The 45 Sport is the latest power model from Aquila and will have its world debut at MIBS. It will be the largest vessel in the Aquila Sport range. The 45 Sport utilizes double-stepped hull technology that delivers top speeds above 50 mph and efficient 38-40 mph cruising.

Its styling is inspired by contemporary luxury SUVs, while the aft cockpit with fold-down terraces creates a 19-foot social space. This aft cockpit is the heart of the boat, engineered specifically for entertainment and water activities. Flip-down gunwales create an extended platform that brings the space closer to the water. Flexible U-shaped seating areas convert to a large sunbed, while an integrated swim ladder provides seamless water access. The galley area accommodates optional BBQ and television installations for all-day entertaining.

Below deck, the cabin offers a king size bed, private head, and optional advanced lithium battery system for off-grid air conditioning.

Aquila will also have models from its Yacht, Couple and Molokai ranges at MIBS. Aquila's Yacht range is designed for cruising capability with home comforts, unrivaled space, and stability. The popular Coupe range offers versatility with superb indoor/outdoor flow and standard Hydro Glide™ foil technology, while its Molokai range provides an ultra-stable fishing platform for anglers that want both comfort and performance, with the benefit of being trailerable.

Aquila's seven power models will be located at Dock IC 511 A-F, Miami Beach Yacht Collection, 16 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140. The 50 Sail will be located at Dock E, Sailors Cove, IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami.

Jean Raas, Chief Product Officer at Aquila Catamarans and CEO of Aquila USA, said: "This is an exciting show for us with two very unique launches. The Aquila DNA of innovation, strength, and quality runs throughout the 50 Sail and 45 Sport, and we look forward to welcoming everyone onboard these models for an exclusive first look. With eight vessels on display at this year's show, we're displaying a truly versatile portfolio to meet the distinct lifestyles and expectations of today's boaters."

Additional models on display at MIBS include:

54 Yacht

Winner of the Multihull of the Year Award in 2021, the 54 Yacht is designed for long-range cruising, entertaining, and onboard comfort. With unmatched stability across its 25'2" beam, it features a panoramic salon with sliding doors that flows seamlessly to the cockpit. The yacht's flybridge is a social hub with multiple seating areas and wet bar. The full-beam master suite offers privacy.

All Aquila Yachts feature a foam-cored bulbous bow, enhancing stability by generating additional lift at the forward section of the hull and significantly reducing "hobby horsing" in choppy conditions.

50 Yacht

With an "Explorer" style and commanding high freeboard, the 50 Yacht blends bold aesthetics with serious offshore capability. Configuration options enable buyers to customize the yacht to match their cruising lifestyle. Sophisticated accommodations feature a standard three cabin layout with a single-level, full-beam master cabin and versatile utility room.

46 Yacht

Featuring the same explorer design as the 50 Yacht, the Aquila 46 Yacht is designed for those who want larger yacht innovation in a more intimate package. The impressive 23'3" beam creates interior volume that feels remarkably spacious for a yacht of this length, while thoughtful design maximizes privacy and connection. CE category A ocean certification means confident open-water exploration.

42 Coupe

A truly complete boating package, the Aquila 42 Coupe blends yacht comforts, sport performance, and offshore capability. Two cabins set in each of the hulls provide privacy and versatility for both day cruising and overnight cruising, while its hull is designed for maximum stability. The unique Aquila Hydro Glide® foil system means the 42 Coupe can deliver 40% greater fuel efficiency vs traditional monohulls.

47 Molokai

The largest vessel in Aquila's fishing range, the 47 Molokai is a center console catamaran with the speed, ride, and fishability required for overnight runs, but with exceptional onboard facilities. It has a luxurious cabin featuring a queen-sized island berth, full head with shower, and premium finishes throughout.

Powered by twin 600HP or quad 400HP Mercury Verado outboards and built with advanced carbon fiber construction, the 47 Molokai delivers exceptional strength, rigidity, and fuel efficiency at high speeds.

This center console delivers tournament-grade fishing features, yet unlike traditional fishing boats, it seamlessly transitions to luxury cruising with comfortable seating for up to 17 people.

36 Molokai

The 36 Molokai delivers big-boat capability for those who demand uncompromising performance and fishing-first functionality. The spacious aft deck features an integrated tackle station for serious anglers but also transforms into an entertainment hub with the optional summer kitchen and BBQ setup.

The comfortable cabin with head allows anglers to extend day trips into overnight adventures, reaching distant fishing grounds previously out of range.
