HARMAN International Industries, the premier connected technologies company for automotive, consumer and enterprise markets, announced today the reintroduction of its award-winning JBL Club Marine Speaker line with the debut of its newest 7.7-inch models.

Featuring over 75 years of audio technology expertise and cutting-edge design, JBL's Club Marine lineup of speakers and subwoofers have been the preferred audio solution for OEMs and DIY boat owners across a variety of applications. Meeting the needs of builders in all segments of boating, JBL is proud to launch its newest 7.7-inch two-way Club Marine Speaker.

Joining an impressive lineup of 6.5- and 8-inch speaker sizes, the new 7.7-inch Club Marine Speaker features weather-resistant silk dome tweeters, with a bridge-mounted design, delivering a smooth high-frequency response and increased power handling for both highs and mids, in a simple drop-in package offering 70W RMS and 280W of peak power. The speaker's one-piece polymer basket is designed to stand the test of time, even after long exposure to sun and salt. Further strengthening the speaker's durability, rubber surrounds and polypropylene cones offer superior protection and are much more reliable than foam or treated paper surrounds found in other speakers. With an IPX5 rating and JBL's extensive UV testing, the Club Marine Speakers and Subwoofers can handle the harshest conditions and look brand new for years to come.

All Club Marine models come with two removeable grilles in gloss white and satin gray. The twist-lock design allows users to easily match the grille color to their preference during installation and hides the mounting fasteners, so the installation results in a clean finish with high cosmetic appeal. Unique and eye-catching RGB illuminated speaker cones offer vibrant color displays when hard-wired to a vessel's lighting system.

"When we initially launched the Club Marine Speaker series, we set out to craft the most affordable drop-in speaker offering unmatched look and sound quality," said Kent Jopling, Senior Global Sales Manager, Special Markets. "The addition of the 7.7-inch model continues that mission as boatbuilders adapt to new boat sizes. From price point to incredible sound, we're confident that builders and DIY customers will appreciate the newest member of the Club Marine Speaker lineup."
